I will have to do a catch up post about the month of January, but the first couple of days of February have shaped up to be quite eventful!
Get excited--I am no longer this...(although I may or may not still have the double chin)
The day after this photo, we unexpectedly were headed to the hospital for a long night. Then, early Tuesday morning, a very handsome little boy arrived!
Ezra Ross Chambers was born, weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces and measuring 20 inches. He has lots of dark hair and has quickly stolen our hearts!
Adam isn't too interested in holding Ezra, but still thinks he's cute! Luke is still just pointing at him. As long as I will still cuddle up next to Luke to watch Curious George, his world is complete! I have a feeling there will be a lot of watching Curious George in the next couple of months! And by the way, Luke suddenly looks like a giant to us!
I will post more pictures soon, as soon as I can.

He's a doll Cortney! The pictures of Julia and Jack holding him are priceless. He's a sweetie for sure! I'm so happy that you are doing well. Congratulations!
I'm so SUPER HAPPY for y'all! What a darling. I love to see the other kids holding him. And you looked gorgeous in that dress. You're always so fashionable. We are almost half way through this pregnancy. We find out in a week what we'll be having. I can't wait. I look at Penny and can't figure out where the last year went. They grow up too fast. Enjoy!
Ezra is very, very handsome. Nice shaped head and so kissable. Love his name. Ross is my son's first name (that he doesn't go by!) That dress you were wearing is probably the cutest maternity dress I have EVER seen. Seriously! You look amazing in it. Good luck with all the kids. You are a supermom. Congrads!
Oh mY! Cortney, I just caught up on your blog (and life). I am SO SORRY to hear about Luke's hearing. I had a neighbor growing up who died of meningitis so I grateful he is alive, but so sad about his hearing! When I was teaching, the teacher next to me was the "deaf/hearing impaired" teacher. There were two (out of three) students in her class with cochlears. They had just received them in first and second grade and were learning to use them and get used to them. I remember when one of them lost the magnet thing on the back of the head at recess in the snow. Me and several other teachers went out searching for it. Gratefully, we found it after about an hour!!! It's great that you could get them while he is so young. As you probably know, it takes a while for people to get use to them and to hear "normal" sounds with them. He will live a normal life! Hang in there! You are an incredible person.
Okay I think he is perfect. And I must say that your are the cutest prego gal ever!! Although, I am happy that your are no longer prego! I am sure Adam and Luke will soon be all over him! Enjoy this time! Have fun with your cute new little guy and all your darling children!
Cortney,
I have been thinking about your cute family a ton since reading your blog the other day. I know that Grace may be a little far for this, but you should check out Sound Beginnings at USU. My neighbor is mostly deaf and went there and her mother swears that it is the best program there is. I just wanted to pass that along. My prayers are with your family!
Congratulations, Cortney!!! I am so happy for you! Can you believe how fast the time flies and bam, now you have another child?! Being a mom is the best and you just seem like the cutest mom ever!!!
